Participation

In a cooperative, you are required to participate with the other members to carry out a number of tasks. You can participate on a committee or individual projects. Co-op members have the opportunity to be involved in all decision making processes that effect the co-op, for example; finance, member selection, maintenence, etc. Please see below for further details. The participation requirement is 4 hours per month for a total of 48 hours per year.

Suggestions for Participation:

Attend board meetings (held every 3rd Sunday of each month @ 6:30 pm
Host or attend co-op parties or gatherings
Baby sit for co-op kids
Help clean turnovers (contact Ron @ apt 215)
Help gallery club preparation for shows
Attend gallery shows
Contribute to a gallery show
Hand out/post marketing fliers for vacant units (contact site manager)
Clean laundry room
Clean common areas
Pick up litter both inside and outside the building
Clean up the trash area
Help with yard work
Clean up playground/wipe down play equipment
Various other activities, be creative!
