Frogtown Family Lofts Artist Cooperative
FFLAC Mission Statement
The mission of the Frogtown Family Lofts Artist Cooperative (FFLAC) is to create a supportive and diverse community of artist and non-artist households. FFLAC seeks individuals who are actively committed to the creative, fine or performing arts. FFLAC embraces all types of families, traditional, non traditional, whose members are committed to a long-term household relationship. FFLAC feels that diversity within community is vital. Individuals of every race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic orgin, physical ability, etc., are enthusiastically welcome.
Our purpose is to provide safe and affordable space suitable for both art making and family living. Internally, FFLAC seeks to foster an environment of cooperation in which each individual respects his our her neighbors and is willing to support the well being of the Co-op community as a whole. FFLAC is also interested in exploring ways that the cooperative can interact with its constituent communities outside of the Co-op, beginning in the neighborhood, our city, and other artist.
Our goal and the means for reaching our goals are necessarily open to a continuing discussion. The energy and creativity of FFLAC residents will make all aspects of the community vital and changing.
